About Workshop

Workshop Note

'Sultana's Dream' is not merely a fairy tale or the first feminist literature of Bengal; it is a manifesto for a new society based on equality. This manifesto contains a profound female perspective and expresses a collection of social aspirations in the form of a dream. Since its publication in 1905, 'Sultana's Dream' has been inspiring new ideas among creative and intellectual individuals worldwide.

This special workshop, organized by the Liberation War Museum, aims to facilitate filmmaking by studying and reviewing the viewpoint, format, and aspirations presented in 'Sultana's Dream' in light of the dynamics of our current time.
